Over 150 comfortable seats are available with footrests and counter space to place your meal. DOWNTOWN. This appealing brewpub offers great food selections, including an enormous chef's salad, burgers done several ways, sandwiches, and an array of tasty appetizers. Sinful dessert selections include a luscious treat known as Chocolate Decadence. Some half-dozen brews populate the menu, including draft and seasonal offerings. A great place to meet up with friends or check out the foot traffic at Trolley Square.

MIDVALE. One of the best reasons to stop off in Midvale is this cozy pub, one of the South Valley's first brewpubs. Popular with the business crowd, Hooper's offers an upscale look that makes it a great place to enjoy local beer with an out-of-town client. The bar menu is superb as well, offering tasty grills, sandwiches, and burgers. No trip to Hooper's would be complete without trying their delicious onion rings, which are as popular as they are big ­ and they are REALLY popular.

One of downtown's more popular watering holes, the Lazy Moon is a great place to meet up with friends before or after a big game or some other event. The chefs here eschew crust-heavy traditional pub fare, opting instead for more upscale grilled entrées, pastas, pizzas, Greek salads, and the like. But then, it's the microbrewed beer that really pulls in the crowds, and Lazy Moon has a delicious variety on tap.

Both laid-back and upscale, the Porcupine is an excellent place to stop and enjoy some of Utah's best micro-brewed beer. Designed like a traditional longhouse, this popular pub features libations from such breweries as Wasatch, Uinta, Squatters, Park City, and Eddie McStiff's. In addition, the kitchen regularly wows patrons with the likes of Cherry BBQ Salmon, Tequila Lime Chicken, and a delicious Black Bean Burrito.
